  Lia has been an artist her entire career. She is a graduate of the Fine Arts program from the well-known Kongju National University in South Korea which is nationally recognized for its animation program. After University, Lia became an Art Director for the first 10 years of her professional career.

She realized that another passion of hers was to create inspiring beauty in everyday life. That was when she decided to migrate to Canada where she settled in Vancouver, British Columbia. There, she worked as a bridal and formal occasion professional creating memorable hair and makeup looks for her client’s milestone moments. 

In 2020, Lia decided to pursue hair full-time and made the move to Toronto. After completing her internship with Salon Scavo in 2021, Lia was selected by Gianfranco himself to join the Scavo team. Lia quickly became a Scavo favorite with the clients where they line up for her curated blow dries. She is a perfectionist and works delicately and patiently while enhancing ones natural beauty. Lia is also a 7-year veteran as a makeup artist specializing in K Beauty looks. 

Lia’s beauty philosophy and objective is to create a relaxing environment for all her clients while making them look and feel their best. Lia continues her training through Scavo Sessions where she will be introduced on the Scavo styling floor soon.
